Visualization analysis of soil ecology research hotspots and trends based on CiteSpace
To understand the research hotspots and trends in the field of soil ecology,a search was conducted on the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)and Web of Science core collection databases from January 1,1993 to November 10,2023,and included 1 978 and 2 499 articles, respectively.CiteSpace 6.2.R4 software was used to visualize the authors, institutions, and keywords of this topic. The results indicated that,(1)before 2019,the overall number of publications in CNKI showed an upward trend, while from 2020 to 2022,the number of publications showed a downward trend. The collaboration between author teams and research institutions was not closely related;research hotspots focused on fields such as soil, soil ecology, ecological environment, and soil nutrients;the research trend mainly focused on soil chemical properties, soil protection and restoration, and the economic benefits brought by crops.(2)The overall number of Web of Science publications was on the rise, and there was close cooperation between author teams and research institutions;the research hotspots mainly focused on diversity, ecology, community, and biodiversity.Provides a reference for conducting soil ecology research.
