Red resources as a new engine for rural revitalization in old districts——Taking Zhongfen Village in Fanchang District, Wuhu City as an Example
Red resources are an important medium for spreading red culture and passing on red genes, as well as an impor tant engine for rural revitalization in old areas. Through the questionnaire survey and interviews on the protection and dev elopment of red resources in Zhongfen Village, it is found that red resources have injected red genes, laid industrial found ation and provided development direction for the high-quality development of rural revitalization in the old areas, but ther e are problems such as backwardness of the development concept of the red industry, shortage of professional talents and limited space development. The study proposes that rural revitalization in old areas should make efforts in strengthening t he leadership of party building, expanding the red industry chain, introducing digital media technology, creating red indus try brands, and cultivating red professionals, to promote the red resources empowerment program and realize the high-qu ality development of rural revitalization.
