Observing the World Athletics Competition Pattern from the Tokyo Olympics

摘要
运用文献资料和数理统计等方法,对第32届夏季奥运会各洲际、各国田径项目竞赛成绩和奖牌归属进行统计分析,归纳当今世界田径竞赛格局的发展趋势,厘清田径项目发展规律.研究表明:随着欧洲田径的强势崛起,世界田径运动的发展进入到百花齐放的阶段,整体呈现出多极化发展趋势,区域竞争优势弱化,金牌分布更加的分散,这一现象有利于世界田径运动均衡化的发展.
Abstract
Using literature review and mathematical statistics methods,this study conducts statistical analysis on the competition results and medal ownership of various intercontinental and national track and field events at the 32nd Summer Olympics,summarizes the development trend of the current world track and field competition pattern,and clarifies the development laws of track and field events.Research shows that with the strong rise of European athletics,the development of world athletics has entered a stage of diverse development,showing an overall trend of multipolarity,weakened regional competitive advantages,and more dispersed distribution of gold medals.This phenomenon is conducive to the balanced development of world athletics.
