Objective:To explore the effect of path psychological intervention combined with narrative nursing on mental toughness of advanced schistosomiasis patients with ascites. Methods:A total of 120 patients with advanced schistosomiasis with ascites treated in hospital were randomly divided into study group (60 cases) and control group (60 cases) by digital table method. The control group was given path-based psychological nursing. Based on this, the study group was given narrative nursing. The psychological status, mental resilience, disease outcome and quality of life of the two groups were compared. Results:Compared with the control group, the scores of anxiety/depression scale in the study group after intervention were lower, and the scores of hope level scale, mental toughness scale and quality of life scale were higher (P<0.05). After intervention, the disease recovery rate of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05), and no complications occurred. Conclusion:Path-based nursing combined with narrative nursing can significantly improve the adverse psychological state of patients, improve the level of mental toughness, and help patients to obtain a good outcome and improve the quality of life.
