Objective:To explore the effect of structured psychological nursing on negative emotions of patients with implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) implantation. Methods:The subjects of this study were 102 patients with discharge after ICD implantation who were treated in the emergency department of a hospital in Anhui Province. Among them, 51 patients from January 2019 to December 2020 were included in the control group, and 51 patients from January 2021 to December 2022 were included in the observation group. Patients in the control group were given conventional psychological intervention, while patients in the observation group were given structured psychological nursing measures. The self-rating depression scale (SDS), self-rating anxiety scale (SAS), uncertainty in illness scale (MUIS) were used to evaluate and compare the related indexes of the two groups at the time of admission and transfer. Results:The SAS, SDS and MUIS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:Structured psychological nursing can effectively reduce the uncertainty of disease, anxiety and depression of patients with discharge after ICD implantation.
