Analysis of the effectiveness of color doppler ultrasonography in diagnosing gallbladder lesions in patients with liver cirrhosis post-chronic hepatitis B
Objective:To investigate the effectiveness of color Doppler ultrasound in assessing gallbladder abnormalities in patients with liver cirrhosis following hepatitis B.Method:80 patients with chronic hepatitis B treated in hospital's infectious diseases department were selected for the study. The observation group consisted of 40 patients with liver cirrhosis post-hepatitis B;the control group consisted of 40 patients with general chronic hepatitis B.Both groups underwent color Doppler ultrasound examinations. The thickness and anterior-posterior diameter of the gallbladder when fasting,as well as changes in various indicators of gallbladder wall thickening in the observation group were analyzed and compared. Results:The fasting gallbladder wall thickness and anterior-posterior diameter in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group. The data for grade C patients in the observation group were significantly higher than those for grades A and B patients, with statistically significant differences and trends(P<0.05).In bilateral thickening type, the inner diameter and blood flow volume of the portal vein were higher than those in the simple thickening type, also showing statistically significant differences(P<0.05).However,the differences in blood flow speed were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Color Doppler ultrasound is effective in diagnosing gallbladder diseases in patients with liver cirrhosis due to hepatitis B.
