Objective:To explore the effect of cluster nursing on perioperative blood glucose management in patients with gastrointestinal tumor and diabetes.Methods:50 cases of gastrointestinal tumor patients with diabetes who underwent surgery were divided into a control group and an observation group(25 cases in each group)according to the method of drawing lots. The control group received routine care, and the observation group received cluster care.Compare the perioperative fasting blood glucose levels, postoperative rehabilitation indicators, incidence of postoperative complications, quality of life, and overall nursing satisfaction between two groups of patients.Result:The fasting blood glucose levels during and after surgery,as well as the first postoperative exhaust time, postoperative gastric tube removal time, incision suture removal time, hospital stay, and incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);However,the QLQ-C30 score and overall nursing satisfaction rate were higher in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of cluster nursing in the perioperative period of gastrointestinal tumor patients with diabetes has obvious effect, which can control the blood sugar of patients in a more reasonable range, and is very important to shorten the condition and promote rehabilitation.
