The ratio of neutrophil to lymphocyte count(NLR)is a relatively simple parameter derived from the complete blood count. The association between NLR and systemic inflammation and chronic disease has been demonstrated in many related studies and is proving to be a highly sensitive biomarker, and is emerging as an independent prognostic factor for several diseases.NLR reflects the balance between inflammation and immune regulation, and inflammation and immune response are closely related to central nervous system immune diseases. At present, the research of biomarkers such as NLR in central nervous system immune diseases is relatively limited. In this paper, the clinical application of NLR in central nervous system immune diseases is reviewed, and the future development direction and application prospect of NLR in the prognosis evaluation of these diseases are prospeced.Hope to provide reference for clinical diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of the disease.
