Objective:To evaluate the effect of three-dimensional printed template in root canal therapy of residual crown and root. Methods:A total of 72 patients with residual crown and root were randomly divided into two groups. In the template group, the template was three-dimensional printed to reconstruct the square plane of the residual crown and root, and the reference point was determined. In the control group, the reference point was found on the residual crown and root of the tooth or adjacent tooth edge, and both groups were treated with Protaper Gold instrument preparation combined with hot dental glue vertical compression filling. The main gutta percha point positioning rate, filling rate, success rate and filling accuracy of the template group were better than those of the control group, and the average treatment time was also lower than that of the control group. There were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the accuracy between premolars and molars in the guide group(P>0.05),but there was significant difference between premolars and molars in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of three-dimensional printed template to restore the reference point of crown prescription in root canal treatment can effectively reduce the error of root canal treatment, improve the efficiency and success rate of treatment, and increase the long-term retention rate of affected teeth.
