Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Duhuo Parasitic Decoction combined with acupoint application in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation(LDH)and its impact on bone metabolism.Method:A total of 100 patients with lumbar disc herniation who were treated in hospital were included in the random number table method.and compliant cases were collected and divided into a control group(treated with acupoint application)and a study group(treated with Duhuo Parasit ic Decoction combined with acupoint application),with 50 cases in each group.The clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment,comparison of inflammatory factor indicators before and after treatment,and comparison of JOA between the two groups of patients were observed ODI and VAS pain scores,incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups,and comparison of β-CTx and osteocalcin levels between the two groups of patients.In the comparison of clinical efficacy between the two groups,the total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05);After treatment,the TCM symptom scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05);two groups of IL-6 The levels of TNF-a and hs CRP decreased compared to before treatment,and the range of changes in the study group was larger than that in the control group(P＜0.05);the β-CTX OST was lower than before treatment(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Duhuo Parasitic Decoction and acupoint application can significantly alleviate pain and other symptoms in patients with lumbar disc herniation,improve lumbar function,and have a better effect than using acupoint application alone.
