Objective:To explore the current situation of academic emotions of nursing students in Xinjiang class in Anhui Province.Method:A total of five classes of students from Grade 1 to 5 of the nursing major of a five-year Xinjiang class in a college in Hefei City,Anhui Province,were selected by the convenience sampling method,and the general information questionnaire and the general academic emotions questionnaire for college students were used to collect relevant information and analyse the data.Results:The overall trend of positive academic emotion decreased with the increase of grade and the score of negative academic emotion increased with the increase of grade,and the change was not significant by trend test(P>0.05).One-way ANOVA showed that there was a statistically significant difference in negative academic emotion between grades(P<0.05),and multiple comparisons(LSD test)showed that there was a significant difference in negative academic emotion between Grade 5 and Grade 1 to 3(P<0.05),with the lowest in Grade 1 and the highest in Grade 5.There was no significant difference in positive academic emotion among different grades(P>0.05).One-way analysis of variance showed that there was a significant difference in the scores of boredom between grades(P<0.05).The scores of boredom in the fourth and fifth grades were 30.77±7.81 and 33.73±9.59,which were significantly higher than those of the first,second and third grades,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Academic mood of nursing students in the Xinjiang class in the inland region increased with grade level.Overall positive academic mood scores were slightly higher than negative academic mood.However,negative academic mood scores increased with grade level,and there was a significant difference between grades,which should be taken into account.
