Objective:To study the effect of mannitol and progesterone on preventing postoperative recurrence of endometrial polyps(EPs),and to identify the risk factors for postoperative recurrence of endometrial polyps.Method:A total of 120 patients who underwent hysteroscopic endometrial polypectomy(TCRP)at the people's hospital were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group(40 cases),a mannitol group(40 cases),and a progesterone group(40 cases).Three groups underwent different treatment methods after surgery, and were followed up for 12 months to observe the changes in endometrial thickness before and after treatment,as well as the recurrence rate of EPs in the three groups.According to whether the study subjects had recurrent EPs,they were divided into a recurrent group and a non recurrent group.Patient data were collected to analyze the influencing factors of EPs recurrence in patients.Result:The endometrial thickness in the Man Yue Le group and the Dienogest group at 3,6,and 12 months of treatment was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The recurrence rate and complication rate in the Man Yue Le group and the Dienogest group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Age(≥ 35 years old),body mass index(BMI≥ 24 kg/m2),estradiol levels, and concurrent gynecological diseases are independent risk factors for postoperative recurrence of EPs(P<0.05),while postoperative medication is a protective factor(P<0.05).Conclusion:Both mannitol and progesterone can prevent postoperative recurrence of endometrial polyps and reduce the incidence of complications in patients;Age,BMI,number of polyps, and postoperative progesterone therapy are related influencing factors for endometrial polyp recurrence.
