The status of radiotherapy technology in neoadjuvant and postoperative adjuvant treatment of pelvic malignant tumors has been continuously improved,and the incidence of radiation enteritis remains high,so the protection of small intestine is particularly important.In clinical practice,some efforts were made to improve radiation therapy techniques,position fixation techniques,and bladder filling to minimize the volume of radiation dose to the small intestine.This article briefly summarizes the preventive measures and future development direction of protecting small intestine during postoperative radiotherapy for pelvic malignant tumor.
