Objective:To explore the effect of traditional Chinese medicine packaging on postoperative limb swelling and pain in patients with tibial fractures.Method:Prospective analysis was conducted on 90 patients with tibial fractures who underwent surgical treatment in hospitals. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 45 cases in each group; The control group received routine symptomatic intervention, while the observation group received additional treatment with traditional Chinese medicine packaging, with continuous intervention for 3 months;Compare the degree of swelling and pain between two groups[Visual Analog Scale(VAS)],as well as knee joint function[Osteoarthritis Index Scale(WOMAC)and Knee HSS Scale(H SS)].Result:The degree of swelling in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05);After 3 months of intervention, the pain scores of both groups decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05);After 3 months of intervention, both groups had a decrease in WOMAC scores and an increase in HSS scores. The observation group had a lower WOMAC score than the control group, while the HSS score was higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine packaging can effectively improve postoperative limb swelling, alleviate pain, and improve knee joint function in patients with tibial fractures.
