Objective:To understand the current situation of health literacy among residents of Shucheng County,and to analyze the role of carrying out health promotion actions on the improvement of residents'health literacy level.Method:To analyze the health literacy monitoring in Shucheng County in 2018 and 2022,and to comprehensively compare the overall level of residents'health literacy before and after carrying out health promotion actions,as well as the growth in the level of health literacy in the three aspects and six categories.Result:The overall health literacy level of residents in 2022 is higher than that in 2018,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).In 2022,the basic knowledge and concepts,healthy lifestyles and behaviors,health skills and infectious disease prevention and control,as well as basic medical health literacy levels of residents in Shucheng County are higher than those in 2018,all with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:Health promotion action is an important measure to enhance the level of health literacy of residents.We should take multiple initiatives to carry out a full range of work to improve the effectiveness of the work,and steadily improve the level of health literacy of residents in the county.
