Objective:To analyze the effects of nutritional nursing in Wilson disease (WD) patients.Methods:140 WD patients were randomly divided into observation group (n=70) and control group (n=70).The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given individualized nutritional nursing on the basis of routine nursing. The differences of triceps skin fold thickness, upper arm circumference, grip strength, albumin, globulin, total cholesterol and triglyceride were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results:In the observation group, the indexes of grip strength, total cholesterol and triglyceride after intervention were statistically significant increased compared with those before intervention (P<0.05).In the control group, there was no significant difference in triceps skin fold thickness, upper arm circumference, grip strength, albumin, globulin, total cholesterol and triglyceride in before and after intervention (P>0.05).After intervention, the indexes of grip strength, total cholesterol and triglyceride in the observation group were statistically significant increased compared with those in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:Individualized nutritional nursing could improve nutritional status, such as grip strength, total cholesterol and triglyceride.
