Objective:According to the requirements of the standardized training program of neurosurgery, the teaching model in clinical training should be done by introducing clinical cases in specific situations combined with Problem Based Learning(PBL) in order to explore the effectiveness of this teaching model in the teaching of clinical residents.Method:According to the training plan,40 students who participated in the neurosurgery program of hosiptal were randomly divided into two groups, the control group taught by traditional teaching methods;observation group taught by combination of Case-Based Learning (CBL) and Problem-Based Learning (PBL).The effectiveness of these two teaching methods were observed for comparison.Result:The students in the observation group scored significantly better than the control group (Group A) in the assessment of independent learning ability,problem-solving ability, teamwork ability, and comprehensive assessment (P<0.05);The evaluation of the teaching model by students in group is higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Students in the observation group believe that this model can help improve their clinical application practice, expand theoretical knowledge, and improve teamwork ability,etc.Conclusion:Case-Based Learning (CBL) and Problem-Based Learning (PBL)can better improve students'understanding and mastery of theoretical knowledge in the standardized training of neurosurgery, and is more popular among students.
