Objective:To investigate the value of massive open online course(MOOC)with flipping classroom in standardized training of respiratory and critical care medicine. Methods:We recorded MOOC teaching videos, and then residents learned by themselves and practiced in the flipped classroom.A total of 84 resident physicians who received the standardized training of residents in the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University were recruited and randomly divided into observation group and control group. The control group was given the conventional teaching method, while the observation group received the conventional teaching method on the basis of the conventional teaching method,at the same time, the residents were allowed to use free time to learn MOOC resources, and then the flipped classroom was used for discussion. We compared the results of the entrance theory examination, the performance of the clinical skills and the satisfaction scores of the standardized training of the two groups. Results:The theoretical examination and clinical skills scores of the observation group were better than those of the control group, and the teaching satisfaction score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:Mooc with flipping classroom has a positive significance in the standardized training of residents in respiratory and critical care medicine.
