Objective:Exploring the effectiveness of a self-assessment model for nursing students combined with case-based teaching in neurology nursing instruction.Methods:One hundred intern nurses who were interned in the Department of Neurology in the hospital were selected and divided into a control group (50 cases) and a study group (50 cases) according to the randomized numerical table method,and were given the self-assessment model of nursing students combined with the case study method of teaching.;50 internship nurses were included in the research group and were given the teaching of nursing students'self-assessment mode combined with the case teaching method;the test scores of the two groups were compared,The two groups were compared in terms of examination scores,clinical competence and teaching satisfaction.Results:The theoretical knowledge and specialty skills scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);after 4 weeks of teaching,the scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group in terms of psychological quality,basic nursing competence,clinical management competence,and clinical competence,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);and the scores of the study group in terms of motivation for teaching,teaching effect,and teaching atmosphere were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant P<0.05).and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:Neurology intern nurses using nursing student self-assessment model combined with case teaching method teaching can improve the examination results,clinical ability and teaching satisfaction.
