Objective:To explore the application of music therapy combined with rapid rehabilitation in the release operation of knee joint stiffness. Methods:Fifty patients with knee joint stiffness who were to undergo release surgery were selected and divided into observation group (n=25,receiving full music therapy combined with rapid rehabilitation therapy) and control group (n=25,receiving simple rapid rehabilitation therapy) by random number method.Postoperative visual analogue Scale (VAS) scores,self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) scores and self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) scores before and after surgery, and improvement degree of knee joint motion (ROM) (active activity) at 1,2 and 4 weeks after surgery were compared between the two groups. Results:On postoperative days 3 and 7,the VAS scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) decreased significantly in both groups (P<0.05),but the observation group was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05).but the improvement of knee motion in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group at immediately during surgery,1,2 and 4 weeks after surgery (P<0.05).Conclusion:The concept of full music therapy combined with rapid rehabilitation can effectively improve the surgical pain experience of patients with knee stiffness, reduce the anxiety of patients, and promote the early recovery of patients, which is worthy of further promotion and application.
