Objective:Explore the role of regional medical centers in the monitoring system of fever with syndrome and the initial monitoring results. Methods:Patients with fever and syndrome within the jurisdiction of the Jiading District Regional Medical Center from June 2022 to June 2024 were selected as study subjects.Patient information was collected through case registration forms, and demographic data, onset information, epidemiological history, and pathogen detection status of fever with syndrome patients over 24 months were statistically analyzed. Results:A total of 86 cases were included in this study, with ages ranging from 3 to 68 years and an average age of(41.95±17.98)years;there were 33 males and 53 females.Among them,74 cases had fever with rash,12 cases had fever with hemorrhage, and the average body temperature was(38.30±0.51)degrees Celsius. The number of cases of fever with syndrome was higher in January,February, and December than in other months. There were statistically significant differences between the two types of fever with syndrome in main symptoms, other post-illness manifestations, hospitalization rates, antibiotic use before sampling, history of travel or foreign visits, and contact with sick animals or their excretions before onset(P<0.05),while there were no statistically significant differences in demographic data and pathogen detection(P>0.05).Conclusion:Regional medical centers play dual roles as sentinel points and preventive measures in fever with syndrome.
