Objective:To explore the effect of systematic CGA nursing model on improving health behavior and quality of life in elderly patients with atrial fibrillation.Methods:104 patients with atrial fibrillation who were admitted to the Department of Cardiology of a tertiary-level hospital were taken as the study subjects, and they were randomly divided into the observation group(n=52)and the control group(n=52)by using a computerized random number generation tool. The patients in the control group were given conventional nursing intervention mode during hospitalization, and the patients in the observation group were given systematic CGA nursing mode intervention on this basis. The scores of Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile-Ⅱ(HPLP-Ⅱ)and China Questionnaire of Quality of Life in Patients with Cardiovascular Diseases(CQQC)before and after intervention were evaluated and compared between the two groups. Results:There was no significant difference in HPLP-Ⅱand CQQC scores between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05).After intervention, the scores of HPLP-Ⅱ and CQQC in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Systematic CGA nursing model can effectively improve the health behavior level and quality of life of elderly patients with atrial fibrillation.
