Objective:To explore the effect of evidence-based nursing on improving mental state and preventing side effects of chemotherapy drugs in patients with breast cancer undergoing chemotherapy. Methods:A total of 140 breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy from the hospital were selected as the subjects of this study.Using a random number table, the patients were divided into a control group and an experimental group, with 70 patients in each.Routine nursing and evidence-based nursing were performed respectively, and the improvement of psychological status and the occurrence of adverse reactions in the two groups were observed.Result:After the intervention, the psychological status scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05);the incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05);and the FACT-B scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:For patients with breast cancer undergoing chemotherapy,evidence-based nursing intervention can improve their psychological status, reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions, and improve their quality of life, which is worth popularizing.
