Analysis of postoperative health empowerment levels and related influencing factors in patients with thoracolumbar vertebral fractures undergoing PVP surgery
Objective:To explore the postoperative health empowerment level and related influencing factors of patients with thoracolumbar vertebral fractures undergoing percutaneous vertebroplasty(PVP).Method:80 patients with thoracolumbar fractures who underwent PVP surgery in our hospital were selected.The Chronic Disease Health Empowerment Scale was used to evaluate the patients'health empowerment at discharge,and relevant data was collected to compare the health empowerment levels of patients with different characteristics and analyze the influencing factors of patients'health empowerment after PVP surgery.Result:The health empowerment score of 80 patients was(88.65±8.54)points.Comparison of health empowerment levels among patients of different ages,social support levels,self-efficacy,and education levels(P<0.05).Linear regression analysis showed that age≥60 years old,high school and below,low social support,and low self-efficacy were risk factors for lower health empowerment levels in patients with thoracolumbar vertebral fractures after PVP surgery(P<0.05).Conclusion:The health empowerment level of patients with thoracolumbar vertebral fractures after PVP surgery is at a moderate level,and their low health empowerment level is mainly influenced by factors such as patient age,high school and below,low social support,and low self-efficacy.
