In recent years, the general branch of the Communist Youth League in vocational colleges has set up a functional branch in the student union, constantly exploring new modes and platforms for the organization and cultivation of students. Taking the establishment of the functional branch of the Communist Youth League in the student union of Anhui Vocational and Technical College as an example, preliminary experiences have been summarized and accumulated in leveraging "two paths", handling "three relationships", and delineating "four levels". The model strengthens ideological and political guidance and plays the political core role of the Communist Youth League; improves the effectiveness of organizational education and implements the central task of cultivating morality; strengthens the communication with other branches to form mutual integration and mutual promotion; promotes characteristic activities and brand building, and unite forces to create brand models. These efforts aim to advance the construction of functional branch within student unions, providing references for the construction of such branches in vocational colleges.
