Digital economy is not only the core engine to promote China's sustainable and healthy economic growth,but also an important catalyst for sustainable population development.This paper analyzes the dynamic evolution of coupling spatial difference between digital economy and sustainable population development using data from 30 provinces from 2012 to 2022.It is found that the coupling and coordination relationship between digital economy and sustainable population development is generally on the rise.However,the overall difference in the coupling coordination relationship between the digital economy and sustainable population development has presented trend of expansion.At the same time,there is a significant positive spatial autocorrelation in the coupling coordination relationship between digital economy and sustainable population development.The marginal contribution of this paper is to study the relationship between the digital economy and sustainable population development,and the second is to study the spatiotemporal characteristics of the coupling and coordination relationship between the digital economy and sustainable population development.
