In the late Ming Dynasty,an era marked by"the collapse of heaven and earth"and"the disintegration of imperial authority",the literati were influenced by the Enlightenment ideology and relied on the economic and social development to initiate the aestheticization of daily life.Starting from the cultural soil of life aesthetics in the late Ming Dynasty,this paper reveals that this fashion is a manifestation of the literati's emancipation of individuality and their direct confrontation with needs,reflecting their value intentions to resist the earthly world and transcend the mundane existence,carrying their spiritual sustenance.The"life aesthetics"of the late Ming literati represents the recognition of individual value and the essence of respecting life,the spiritual choice and aesthetic orientation in the face of real-life dilemmas,their passionate attitude towards life and their summarization of life wisdom,which hold significant reference value for contemporary aesthetic construction.
