Starting with the structure and leakage point of mechanical seals,the paper analyzes the main causes of seal failure caused by seal leakage in the three stages of static pressure test,test run and normal operation,which are usually experienced when installing and using mechanical seals,and provides ideas for judging and solving the leakage problem of mechanical seals.
