Research Trends and Thoughts on Positive Reaction Point of Auricular Points in Recent 20 Years
Auricular points are reaction points distributed on the auricle and are currently widely used in clini-cal TCM.Auricular acupuncture therapy has the advantages of simplicity,non-invasiveness,safety and good effect,and has achieved satisfactory diagnosis and treatment results for internal,external,gynecological,pediatric and other multidisciplinary diseases.Positive reaction points at auricular points refer to abnormal manifestations of color,shape,resistance value,etc.in the corresponding parts of the auricle when lesions occur in the human organs or body.Posi-tive reaction points at auricular points are often different and specific in different diseases,different individuals,or the same disease or the same individual at different stages,and can show different physical and chemical properties.On the basis of traditional auricular acupoints,it is one of the current research trends in the field of auricular acupoints to accurately detect their positive reaction points through observation,palpation,electrometry and other means to guide clinical research and practice in a more individualized and precise manner.A large number of clinical trials have proven that the positive reaction points of auricular points are of great significance for the prevention,diagnosis and treatment of diseases.However,the current research and application of positive reaction points of auricular points lacks standardization.For example,there is no unified conclusion on the mechanism of action,and how to achieve accurate auricular points.Detection is not yet perfect,etc.Therefore,this field still requires further research by relevant scholars to guide clinical practice and improve clinical efficacy.This article reviews the literature on positive reaction points at auricular points in the past 20 years to understand the research progress on positive reaction points at auricular points,and summarizes the origin of auricular points in traditional Chinese medicine,the development of Western medicine,the discussion of modern mechanisms,auricular point detection methods,acupoint selection rules,and clinical signifi-cance.Summarize,think and discuss.
