Clinical observation on the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine on cirrhotic ascites combined with spontaneous peritonitis
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of cirrhosis and ascites combined with spontaneous peritonitis.Methods:80 patients with liver cirrhosis,ascites,and spontaneous peritonitis who met the criteria for hot and humid water treatment were selected as the research subjects,and were ran-domly divided into 2 groups,one group was the control group,and the other group was the experimental group,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was given cefixime treatment,and the experimental group was given self-made prescriptions on the basis of western medicine treatment.The treatment effectiveness,changes in related symptoms be-fore and after treatment,improvements in laboratory indicators and TCM symptom scores were observed and compared between the two groups of patients.Results:Compared with the effective rate of the control group(77.50%),the effec-tive rate of the experimental group(90.00%)was significantly improved(P＜0.05);the time required for symptom relief in the experimental group was shorter(P＜0.05);various items in the experimental group The laboratory indicators were all better than those of the control group;the TCM symptom scores of the former were lower than those of the latter.Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine has significant efficacy in treating liver cirrhosis and ascites combined with spontaneous peritonitis.Compared with western medicine treatment alone,it can significantly improve the patient's related symptoms,reduce the patient's pain,and shorten the patient's course.It should be well promoted.
