Clinical Study on Treatment of Thoracolumbar Vertebral Compression Fractures with Manipulation of Wu Men Medical School
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy and imaging indexes of Wumen manual conservative treatment of thoracic and lumbar fractures by observing the clinical efficacy and imaging indicators of Wumen medical manipu-lation in the treatment of thoracic and lumbar vertebral fractures.Methods:Eighty patients with thoracic and lumbar compression fracture were randomly divided into treatment group and control group by random number table method,40 casesin each group,the control group patients underwent conventional conservative treatment,and the treatment group wastreated by Wumen Yipai manipulative treatment on the basis of conventional conservative treatment,and the VAS score,Oswestry dysfunction index,local kyphosis angle of the injured vertebra,and the two groups were compared before treatment,3 days after treatment,3 months after treatment,and the last return visit.The height ratio of vertebral-wedge angle to the anterior edge of vertebral body,changes in imaging indexes at last follow-up,and TCM symptom-score.Results:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 95%and the control group was 80%,the difference-was statistically significant,There was no significant difference in preoperative VAS and ODI index between the two groups.The VAS and ODI index of the two groups were significantly lower than those in the control group 3 days after treatment,3 months after treatment,and at the last follow-up,and the difference was statistically significant.Before treatment,the local kyphosis,vertebral wedge angle and anterior edge height were not statistically significant.After treatment,the local kyphosis,vertebral wedge angle and anterior edge height of the two groups were compared,and the imaging indexes of the treatment group were better than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant.The local kyphotic angle loss,vertebral wedge angle loss and vertebral anterior edge height loss between the two groups before and after treatment were significantly lower in the treatment group than in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant.Conclusio:The Wumen medical method can effectively relieve the pain of patients in the treatment of thoracic and lumbar compression fractures,restore a certain vertebral height,and have the advantages of simple operation,few complications and high safety.
