Discussing the Regulation of Intestinal Micro-ecology by Traditional Chinese Medicine to Prevent and Treat Coronary Heart Disease from the Perspective of "Heart and Small Intestine"
Many studies on the treatment of coronary heart disease with traditional Chinese medicine have found that the rational application of traditional Chinese medicine can effectively reduce the symptoms of patients with coro-nary heart disease, improve myocardial function, reduce blood lipid levels, inhibit platelet aggregation, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory. Structural changes in intestinal flora can also affect the occurrence and development of car-diovascular diseases. This coincides with the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine that "the heart and the small intestine are related to each other", and intervention of intestinal flora can be used as a new potential method to treat coronary heart disease. Many experiments have proven that traditional Chinese medicine can affect the pathogenesis of coronary heart disease by regulating intestinal flora, thereby achieving the purpose of treating coronary heart disease. This article reviews previous studies on the impact of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of coronary heart disease on intestinal flora, with a view to providing clinical reference.
