Treatment of Aphasia after Stroke by Combination of Acupuncture and Medicine from "Regulating Spleen and Kidney"
Objective: To summarize Dr. WANG Yougang's clinical ideas on the treatment of post-stroke aphasia from the perspective of "regulating the spleen and kidneys" and discussing the combination of acupuncture and medi-cine. Methods: By practicing clinical symptoms with teachers, collecting relevant literature, and sorting out typical case data, based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, starting from the mechanism and connotation of aphasia, "deficiency of spleen and kidneys" and "disorder of organs" after stroke, the clinical experience of Teacher WANG Yougang was summarized. , summarizes its commonly used acupuncture point selection and self-made prescriptions, and provides evidence to support it. Results: Teacher WANG Yougang selected Dong's odd points, Jiao's scalp acu-puncture in the first speech area, body acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine, syndrome differen-tiation and treatment, acupoint selection, and flexible addition and subtraction of prescriptions, which can effectively improve the patient's speech ability, and the clinical effect is very good. The cases mentioned in the case report indi-cate deficiency of the spleen and kidneys as the main pathogenesis, and the treatment methods include refreshing the brain and resuscitation, tonifying the spleen and kidneys, and a combination of acupuncture and medicine is used in the treatment, and the curative effect is definite. Conclusion: Dr. WANG combined his own clinical experience and used the theory of "regulating the spleen and kidneys" to treat post-stroke aphasia with acupuncture and medicine. The curative effect is remarkable, and his clinical ideas are worthy of reference and promotion.
