Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy of Zhike Gancao decoction combined with lumbar oblique wrench manipulation in the treatment of patients with chronic non-specific low back pain. Methods: 60 patients with chronic non-specific low back pain who were treated in Suzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from March 2021 to October 2022 were randomly divided into 2 groups. The control group was treated with celecoxib capsules combined with the lum-bar oblique wrench method, and the observation group On this basis, Zhike Gancao Decoction was added; the clinical ef-ficacy, VAS score, ODI index, serum inflammatory factor IL-6 and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before treatment, 4 weeks after treatment and 3 months after treatment. Results: The VAS scores and ODI index of the patients in the observation group 4 weeks after treatment and 3 months after treatment were lower than those of the patients in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant; the serum IL-6 level of the patients in the observation group was lower than that of the patients in the control group 4 weeks after treatment. The difference was not statistically significant, but it was significantly lower than that of the control group 3 months after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant; no obvious adverse reactions occurred in either group during the treatment period. Conclusion: Zhike Gancao decoction combined with lumbar oblique wrench manipulation can significantly reduce the pain symptoms of chronic non-specific low back pain and reduce the levels of serum inflammatory factors without obvious ad-verse reactions, which has the value of clinical promotion and use.
