Clinical Observation of Floating Needle in Treatment of Early and Middle Stage Femoral Head Necrosis
Objective: To observe and analyze the clinical efficacy of floating needles in the treatment of early and mid-stage femoral head necrosis. Methods: 80 patients with early and mid-stage femoral head necrosis who met the criteria were selected for study, and were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Xianling Gubao capsules orally, and the observation group was given floating needle therapy. Treatment lasts for 3 months. Further follow-up was conducted to observe the hip joint pain visual analog scale (VAS), hip joint function (Harris) score, and total treatment effectiveness of the subjects. Results: The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 95.00%, which was higher than that in the control group, 72.5%, with statistical significance (P<0.05); after treatment, the Harris and VAS scores of the observation group were better than those of the control group, with statistical significance (P<005) . Conclusion: Floating acupuncture can improve the total effective rate and Harris score, and reduce the VAS score in the treatment of early and mid-stage avascular necrosis of the femoral head.
