Pelvic inflammatory disease sequelae is a common chronic disease in gynecology. Its causes are complex, the course is long, and it is difficult to recover. It has a serious impact on women's reproductive health and normal life. Wind medicine can eliminate wind diseases and has the properties of wind and wood. It has the characteristics of "ascen-sion, movement, penetration, channeling, and movement". It can target the etiology and pathogenesis of "dampness, blood stasis, stagnation, and deficiency" in the sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease. The four aspects of "helping luck and eliminating dampness, activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis, dispersing Qi knots, and replenishing with-out stagnation" play a synergistic effect. Starting from the etiology and pathogenesis of the sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease, this article discusses the mechanism and application of wind medicine in the treatment of this disease, and at-taches a case study, in order to provide a reference for the traditional Chinese medicine treatment of this disease.
