Effect of Yichang Anticancer Prescription on Therapeutic Effect, Immune Function and Intestinal Mucosal Barrier in Patients with Postoperative Chemotherapy for Colon Cancer
Objective: To explore the effect of Yichang Kangcan Recipe on intestinal mucosal barrier and immune function in patients undergoing postoperative chemotherapy for colon cancer. Methods: 82 patients with colon cancer after surgery in Shangqiu First People's Hospital from December 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the research subjects, and were divided into groups using the random number table method. The control group was given a chemo-therapy regimen, and the observation group was additionally treated with Yichangkang. Cancer prescription, compare the efficacy, immune function [Immunoglobulin M (IgM), Immunoglobulin G (IgG) Immunoglobulin A (IgA)] and intes-tinal mucosal barrier [blood vessels] between the two groups of patients Endothelial growth factor (Vascular endothelial growth factor, VEGF), transforming growth factor-β1 (Ttansforming Growth Factor-β1, TGF-β1), plasma endo-toxin content, urinary lactulose/mannitol ratio] and adverse reactions. Results: After 8 weeks of treatment, the levels of IgG, IgA, and IgM in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05); the endotoxin levels and urinary lactulose/mannitol ratio in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05), and VEGF, TGF-β1 levels were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05); the total effective rate in the observation group was 63.41%, which was higher than 41.46% in the control group (P<0.05); cases of gastrointestinal reactions, pe-ripheral neuropathy and abnormal liver function occurred in the observation group The numbers were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The application of Yichang Kangcan Recipe in the treatment of patients with colon cancer undergoing postoperative chemotherapy has obvious effects. It can improve the intestinal mucosal bar-rier function and immune function of patients, and reduce the adverse reactions caused by chemotherapy. It is worthy of clinical reference application.
