Analysis on the Efficacy and Safety of Huanglian Jiedu Decoction plus Jiahe Jinhuang Paste in the Treatment of Early Perianal Abscess
Objective: To explore the efficacy and safety of Huanglian Jiedu Decoction plus Alloy Yellow Cream in the treatment of early perianal abscess. Methods: 46 patients with early perianal abscess who were diagnosed from Jan-uary 2020 to March 2023 were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each with 23 cases. The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine, and the observation group was treated with Huanglian Jiedu Decoction plus Alloy Yellow Cream on the basis of the control group, with 5 days as one course of treatment, and 2 consecutive courses of treatment. The clinical efficacy, symptom and sign scores, inflammatory factor indicators, pain degree, tumor area, and adverse reactions of the 2 groups of patients were statistically analyzed. Re-sults: The clinical effective rate of the patients in the observation group was 95.65％, which was higher than the clinical effective rate of the patients in the control group, which was 82.61％. The difference was not statistically significant. Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the symptom and sign scores of the patients in the two groups. After treatment, the symptom and sign scores of the patients in the two groups were significantly lower than before treatment. In comparison between the groups, the symptom and sign scores of the patients in the observation group were lower than those of the control group; Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the inflammatory factor indexes between the two groups of patients. After treatment, the inflammatory factor index levels of the two groups of patients were significantly lower than before treatment. Comparing between groups, the inflammatory factor index levels of the patients in the observation group were lower than those of the control group. patients; before treatment, there was no significant difference in the VAS scores and mass area of the patients in the two groups. After treatment, the VAS scores and mass area of the patients in the two groups were significantly lower than before treatment. Compared between the groups, the VAS scores and mass area of the patients in the observation group were both lower. For patients in the control group, the differences were statistically significant; there was no significant difference in adverse reactions be-tween the 2 groups. Conclusion: Huanglian Jiedu Decoction plus Alloy Yellow Cream can significantly relieve anal pain and improve the inflammatory status of patients with early perianal abscess, with high efficiency and good safety.
