The Difference and Connection Between the Eye Acupuncture Point area and the Eye Surrounding Acupoints
Eye acupuncture has a wide range of indications, and is especially good at treating neurological diseases such as stroke, dizziness, headaches, etc., and has remarkable curative effects. However, most of the current research on eye acupuncture only focuses on the theoretical explanation of eye acupuncture, the scope of disease treatment and the efficacy of acupuncture, etc., and there is a lack of comparison and connection research with acupoints around the eyes. By reviewing the literature, the differences and connections between eye acupuncture points and periorbital acupoints were analyzed from four aspects: meridian theory, localization and indications, acupuncture techniques and modern re-search, to provide reference for the clinical application of eye acupuncture combined with periorbital acupoints.
