Hot flashes and night sweats are typical clinical symptoms of perimenopausal syndrome in women, which seriously interfere with the healthy life of perimenopausal women. After women enter perimenopause, they may experi-ence hot flashes and night sweats, emotional discomfort, irregular menstruation, dizziness, dry eyes and other symptoms. Among them, hot flashes and night sweats often occur at night and make it difficult to sleep, which is very harmful to women. Causes serious trouble, so this article analyzes and discusses hot flashes and night sweats. At present, Western medicine mostly uses hormone therapy for its treatment, which shows obvious adverse reactions and has limited effica-cy. Syndrome differentiation and treatment from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine can reduce adverse re-actions and improve clinical efficacy. Traditional Chinese medicine currently believes that the occurrence of hot flashes and night sweats in perimenopausal women is closely related to yin deficiency and body fluid deficiency, but it is easy to ignore that liver failure is also an important factor in the onset of perimenopausal women. Based on the "Huangdi Neijing" and other classic works, this article analyzes the theory of "liver governs dispersion" from the physiological and pathological aspects, further explores the physiological characteristics of women's perimenopause and the etiol-ogy and pathogenesis of hot flashes and night sweats, and finds that women's perimenopausal symptoms occur The important causes of hot flashes and night sweats are the stagnation of liver qi caused by liver failure. Qi and blood sta-sis accumulates and turns into heat, causing blood heat to flow freely, forcing body fluids to leak out, and the abnormal distribution of body fluids caused by liver failure. Therefore, based on this, we conduct treatment from the perspective of restoring the liver's dredging function, taking soothing the liver and regulating qi as the main method, softening the liver and nourishing yin, nourishing the liver and kidneys as auxiliary means, and is committed to the clinical treatment of perimenopausal hot flashes in women. Night sweats provide learning and reference.
