Analysis of SHENG Meixiao's Experience in Treating Nephritis Hematuria
Nephritic hematuria is the result of an immune inflammatory response that causes red blood cells to pass through the damaged glomerular filtration membrane barrier in the urine. With lung, spleen and kidney deficiency of healthy Qi as the internal factor of the disease, the invasion of external evil is the inducement and aggravation fac-tor, the internal disturbance of wind evil or dampness-heat infiltration, kidney collateral damage, blood overflow in the lower, the occurrence of hematuria, and the evil combination of rheumatism and heat caused the disease. Based on this, Professor SHENG Meixiao proposed that clinical syndrome should be based on tonifying lung, kidney and spleen, clearing dampness-heat throughout the course of the disease, supplemented by cooling blood to stop bleeding, removing blood stasis to stop bleeding, astringent and astringent.
