This paper introduces Professor Cheng Hongliang's clinical experience and therapeutic features in the treatment of acute stage of Bell's facial palsy based on "water dampness, stasis and poison". On the basis of clinical practice and literature review, Professor Cheng clearly put forward that "water dampness, blood stasis and turbidity toxicity" are the main causes of Bell's facial paral ysis in the acute stage, and water and liquid metabolism disorders are the core of the pathogenesis, and the disease location is mainly in three jiao.According to the different causes of "water dampness, blood stasis, turbidity poison",the clinical effect is accurate, and it has the value of clinical appli-cation and promotion.
