Analysis on the Characteristics of Medication Patterns for Treating Thyroid Nodules by GENG Jianguo
Objective: To analyze Professor GENG Jianguo's medication regularity and characteristics in treating thyroid nodules (TNS). Methods: By collecting the medical record data of Professor GENG Jianguo's prescriptions for treating TNS, analyzing and summarizing the prescription and medication information, using Excel 2011 software to establish a database, summarizing and organizing the data, and using SPSS19.0 software for cluster analysis. Results: Among the 100 prescriptions included, a total of 62 traditional Chinese medicines were involved, involving 1229 times of medication. The analysis found that the top 10 most frequently used Chinese medicines were Bupleurum, Scutellaria baicalensis, Fritillaria baicalensis, Prunella vulgaris, Atractylodes stir-fried, Xianlingpi, and Ligusticum chuanxiong. , Dried ginger, saponin thorn, raw Eucommia ulmoides. Conclusion: Professor GENG Jianguo often treats TNS with the core treatment method of "clearing the upper part and warming the lower part", and also uses methods of regulating Qi, resolving phlegm, and dispersing blood stasis. Through the study of Professor GENG Jianguo's prescriptions for treat-ing TNS and exploring the characteristics of medication rules, we can provide more ideas for the diagnosis and treat-ment of TNS and better help patients regain their health.
