Clinical Study on the Treatment of Acute Gastrointestinal Dysfunction in Elderly Patients with Severe Pneumonia in ICU
Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Juncheng Mixture in the treatment of acute gastrointestinal dysfunction in elderly patients with severe pneumonia in ICU. Methods: 50 patients who met the cri-teria were selected and randomly divided into treatment group and control group. The control group received routine treatment, while the observation group received Juncheng Mixture and Mosapride respectively on the basis of routine treatment. The results were evaluated before and after treatment. Improvement of gastrointestinal dysfunction scores, clinical pulmonary infection scores, and overall clinical efficacy evaluation of patients in the group. Results: The treat-ment group was superior to the control group in terms of total clinical effectiveness and improvement in gastrointestinal dysfunction scores before and after treatment, with statistical differences (P<0.05). There was a statistical difference in the improvement of clinical pulmonary infection scores between the two groups of patients before and after treatment (P<0.05), and there was no difference between the two groups of patients (P>0.05). Conclusion: The clinical efficacy of Juncheng Mixture in treating acute gastrointestinal dysfunction in elderly patients with severe pneumonia in ICU is better than that of the control group, and it has good safety.
