Clinical Observation of Shenqi Jiangtang Capsule on Blood Glucose Fluctuation in Type 2 Diabetes Patients with Qi Yin Deficiency
Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Shenqi Jiangtang Capsule on blood glucose fluctuations in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with Qi and Yin deficiency type. Methods: 64 elderly type 2 diabetes patients with Qi and Yin deficiency who were hospitalized in our hospital from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 were selected as the re-search subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group according to the research sub-jects. The control group The treatment group received comprehensive treatment such as subcutaneous insulin injection,oral hypoglycemic drugs, conventional hypoglycemic drugs, and lifestyle intervention, while the treatment group re-ceived Shenqi Jiangtang Capsules based on the comprehensive intervention of the control group. Observe the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome symptom score scale, maximum blood sugar fluctuation range, blood sugar standard devia-tion, postprandial blood sugar fluctuation range, and blood lipid routine of the two groups before and after treatment, and conduct a comparative analysis of the clinical efficacy of the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the treatment group was 100.0％ (32/32), which was significantly better than the 90.6％ (29/32) of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the TCM syndrome symptom scores, maximum blood sugar fluctuation range, blood sugar standard deviation, postprandial blood sugar fluctuation range, triglycerides, total cholesterol, and low-density lipoprotein cho-lesterol in the treatment group were all lower than those before treatment and lower than those in the control group after treatment (P<0.05). After treatment, the measured values of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol in the treatment group were higher than those before treatment and higher than those in the control group after treatment (P<0.05). Conclusion: Shenqi Jiangtang Capsule has significant clinical efficacy in treating type 2 diabetes due to Qi and Yin deficiency. It can effectively improve the related symptoms of patients with type 2 diabetes, and can effectively regulate blood sugar fluctuations and blood lipid levels in patients. It is worthy of clinical application and further experimental research.
