Clinical Effect of Tuina Combined with Lumbago Huoxue Capsule on Lumbar Disc Herniation (Blood Stasis Type)
Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect on lumbar disc herniatin (LDH) (blood stasis type) using massage techniques combined with Yaotong Huoxue Capsules. Methods: Using the envelope method, 60 patients with definite diagnoses of LDH (blood stasis type) enrolled in the Massage Clinic of the First Clinical College of Anhui Uni-versity of Traditional Chinese Medicine were divided into an observation group (massage + drug group) of 30 patients and a control group (massage group) of 30 patients. group) 30 cases. The control group (massage group) received mas-sage intervention, and the observation group (massage + drug group) received Yaotong Huoxue Capsule drug treatment on the basis of massage. After 2 courses of treatment, the clinical efficacy, TCM syndrome scores, lumbar spine dys-function index (Oswestry disability index, ODI) and visual analogue scale (VAS) scores of the 2 groups were observed. Results: After the treatment, it can be seen that the total effective rate of the observation group (massage + drug group) is higher than that of the control group (massage group) (P<0.05). After treatment, the TCM syndrome scores, ODI in-dex, and VAS scores of the 2 groups of patients were all lower than before treatment (P<0.05), and the observation group (massage + drug group) after treatment was significantly lower than the control group (massage group) (P<0.05) ). Conclusion: Massage manipulation combined with Yaotong Huoxue Capsules in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation (blood stasis type) can more effectively improve lumbar spine function, relieve pain, and improve clinical efficacy.
