Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a common respiratory disease characterized by inflam-mation-induced pulmonary ventilation limitation and lung parenchymal destruction. In addition to pulmonary manifes-tations, patients with COPD may also develop other systemic problems, among which muscular dystrophy is one of the most common complications. COPD combined with muscular dystrophy seriously affects the quality of life of patients.Traditional Chinese medicine treatment has unique advantages for COPD combined with muscular dystrophy. This pa-per will review the traditional Chinese medicine treatment of COPD combined with muscular dystrophy.
