Therapeutic Effect of Tongfu Xingshen Decoction on Patients with Cognitive Dysfunction after Ischemic Stroke and Analysis of TCM Syndromes and Changes of HSP70,VEGF and Ang-1 Levels
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Tongfu Xingshen decoction on patients with cognitive dys-function after ischemic stroke.Method:99 patients with cognitive dysfunction after ischemic stroke in our hospital(May 2018 to May 2023)were divided into the control group(49 cases,conventional treatment+citicoline sodium)and the observation group(50 cases,conventional treatment+citicoline sodium+Tongfu Xingshen decoction)according to ran-dom number table method.Both groups continued to be treated for one month.The clinical indexes of the two groups were compared.Results:After 1 month of treatment,the clinical total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the scores of TCM syndromes such as slurred speech,dull complexion,lack of en-thusiasm and mental retardation and the level of serum glial fibrillary acidic protein were lower than those of the control group.The levels of HSP70,VEGF,Ang-1,brain-derived nerve factor and insulin-like growth factor-1 in serum were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Tongfu Xingshen decoction is more effective than western medicine in the treatment of cognitive dysfunction after ischemic stroke,which can effectively alleviate clini-cal symptoms,reduce brain tissue damage,improve cerebral blood circulation and promote nerve regeneration and reconstruction.
