Clinical Study of Sanjie Xiaoban Decoction Combined with Baduanjinin Treating Carotid Artery Vulnerable Plaque of Phlegm-stasis Interjunction Type
Objective:To evaluate the clinical value of Sanjie Xiaoban Recipe combined with Baduanjin in the treat-ment of vulnerable carotid plaques with phlegm and blood stasis.Methods:80 patients with vulnerable carotid plaques(phlegm and blood stasis type)were randomly divided into a treatment group(40 cases)and a control group(40 cases).Patients in the control group received standardized Western medicine anti-platelet aggregation,lipid-lowering,and plaque-stabilizing treatments,while the treatment group received Sanjie Xiaoban Recipe combined with Baduanjin in addition to the basic treatment of the control group.The changes in carotid plaque IMT,total plaque area,Crouse score and serological indicators were compared between the two groups of patients after treatment.Results:Changes in ca-rotid artery plaque IMT,total plaque area,Crouse score,maximum plaque thickness and area in both carotid arteries before and after treatment,total cholesterol,triglycerides,and low-density lipoprotein in the two groups of patients after treatment Protein cholesterol was significantly lower than before treatment(P＜0.05),and high-density lipoprotein cho-lesterol levels and rising time values were significantly higher than before treatment(P＜0.05).Changes in carotid artery plaque IMT,total plaque area and Crouse score,maximum plaque thickness and area in both carotid arteries before and after treatment,total cholesterol,triglycerides,and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol in the treatment group after treatment Compared with the control group,it was significantly reduced(P＜0.05).Compared with the control group,the post-treatment level and rising time values were significantly increased.After comparing the differences,they were both statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Sanjie Xiaoban Recipe combined with Baduanjin can effectively re-duce the number and area of vulnerable plaques in patients with phlegm and blood stasis,stabilize vulnerable carotid plaques,and inhibit the progression of carotid atherosclerotic plaques,which is worthy of clinical practice.promotion.
