Effect and Mechanism of Mirror Therapy Combined with Bobath Technique on FMA Scores in Patients with Hemiplegia
Objective:To explore the effect and mechanism of mirror therapy combined with Bobath technique on the Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment scale(FMA)score of hemiplegic patients. Methods:A total of 93 patients with hemiplegic stroke who received rehabilitation treatment in Zhumadian Central Hospital from October 2020 to October 2022 were randomly divided into a control group(46 cases, conventional rehabilitation training)and a study group(47 cases, mirror therapy combined with Bobath technique)according to the random number table method. The treatment effect, the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score, modified Barthel(BI)scale score, and Berg scale score before and after treatment between the two groups were compared, the serum neurotrophin-3(NT-3)and nerve growth factor(NGF)levels before and after treatment, and the Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment scale(FMA)scores of the upper and lower limbs before and after treatment. Results:The clinical effective rate of the study group was 95.74%,which was higher than 80.43%in the control group. After treatment, the NIHSS scores of the two groups of patients decreased, and the study group was lower than the control group, while the BI and Berg scores increased com-pared with before treatment, and the study group was higher than the control group. After treatment, the serum NT-3 and NGF levels of the two groups of patients increased compared with before treatment, and the study group was higher than the control group. After treatment, the upper and lower limb FMA scores of the two groups of patients increased compared with before treatment, and the study group was higher than the control group, and the differences were statis-tically significant. Conclusion:Mirror therapy combined with Bobath technique in the treatment of hemiplegic patients can help alleviate nerve damage, accelerate the recovery of limb function and balance function, improve daily life, and improve nerve cell factors, with a definite effect.
